The Practice Area

We welcome requests to join our Practice from patients living in or moving into the Practice area.  As a rough guide, we cover all of Houghton Regis and the areas bounded by the M1, A5, A505 and Toddington.

How to register

You can register by completing two forms at Reception. You will need to bring in two forms of identification a photo ID such as passport or Driving Licence and a Utility Bill/Tenancy Agreement/Mortgage Letter. Immunisation/Red Books should be brought in for all children up to 6 years of  age.

We encourage new patients to see our Health Care Assistants for a Health Check.  This gives us useful information about your background medical history and current health needs and allows us to better advise you about services in the Practice.

If you take regular medication, you will need to make an appointment with a doctor, who can then review your medical history and set up your repeat prescriptions on the computer.

Patients are welcome to see any doctor of their choice but we would encourage you to try and see the same doctor as we believe this leads to better continuity and patient care. If you wish to change from your designated GP (within the Practice) you need to inform Reception who will change you over to another GP
