Whooping cough cases increase

The Doctors’ consultation times are between 8.00 a.m. and 6.30 p.m.(to 8.00 pm on Wednesdays by rotation) though surgery times for individual Doctors may vary.

Saturdays Doctors' consultation from 08.00 to 10.00 a.m on alternate Saturdays. Only two GPs will be working on Saturday mornings. These appointments are PREBOOKABLE ONLY and prescriptions are locked away for security reasons and therefore arenot available to be picked up. See the next tab for more details

When We Are Closed

out_of_hours Out of hours care remains the responsibility of Bedfordshire Primary Care Trust. It is provided by Care UK and is based at the Luton and Dunstable Hospital. If you need a doctor in the out of hours period (between 6.30 pm and 8 am on Monday to Friday, all day Saturday, Sunday and public holidays) the contact number is 0845 634 0166. Please use the service for urgent medical problems only.

NHS Direct

In the case of urgent need when the practice is closed you can call NHS Direct (0845 4647) to speak to a triage nurse. Your needs will be assessed and advice offered or arrangements made for you to see a doctor.

Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.

Important Information about Surgery Times during 2011/12

During the following dates the Surgery will be closed from 2:00p.m. This is due to the staff from the Surgery taking part in a series of important training sessions. This training will help improve the services we provide to our patients. This has been organised on a PCT wide basis.
