Important Information Regarding Repeat Prescription Requests

The car park has a box to put prescription requests in 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.

The box is emptied at 08:00 and 13:00 every day, except Saturdays and Sundays which are not workdays. Therefore, prescriptions left after 14:00 on a Friday will only start being produced from Monday morning at 08:00.

Prescriptions are to be accepted 7 days before medication due so as they do not get mislaid. They will be held and only be processed for the correct due date.

If you have agreed to the chemists sending you a text message when they have a prescription ready for you to collect, they will text you. The practice does not send text messages out regarding prescriptions. Patients should be aware that the chemist share the building with us and is an independent business not owned or run by the practice.

When GP are issuing a prescription from a face to face or telephone call the prescription will be at the patients designated chemists or collect at the practice by 18:30 daily Monday to Friday.

Patients, please note it is your responsibility to collect prescriptions and medications. The practice does not deliver – but you could speak to your chemist if they deliver should you have difficulties collecting.
